Universal Music India conducted a music driven brand campaign for a leading insurance company in the form of a singing contest called Young Singing Stars. The contest was conducted in 2014 and repeated in 2015. Participants were asked to submit their audio-recordings on IVR and the web for the first round of audition. The response was tremendous and the total number of recordings exceeded 50000.
SensiBol's automated singing evaluation service turned out to be a boon for our A&R team assigned to shortlist the entries for the second round of auditions. The team members were initially skeptical but later started heavily relying on the ratings provided by the service. The otherwise mammoth task of individually listening to and evaluating such a large number of recordings was super-simplified using Sensibol’s service.
